My passion that I love the most is playing piano. I started piano since I was in the 1st grade. Well, as you know, I started with the basics. I felt frustrated at first since it was so hard. Over time, my fingers started to get used to get used on the keys. Every 6 months, I get a concert. The good news is that they’re fun and that I can finally dress formally. The bad news is that it’s far from Coquitlam. Normally, my concerts are at West Vancouver, Vancouver, or Burnaby. During concerts, there is a certain sequence when people perform onstage with a grand piano. The sequence is based on your piano level. For example, if you’re a beginner, you get to be the first ones to play. If you’re intermediate like level 5, you get to be in the middle to perform. If you’re advanced like level 9 or 10, you get to be the last ones. Since I’m level 10, I have to play as the last ones. At least I have an advantage since I can think about my piece before I perform. When I’m onstage, I get stage fright. But I remember not to look at the audience. It’s not only concerts, but I have to take exams. I already done two exams: One for level 5 and one for level 8. To pass an exam, the person must get at least 60 marks. Exams are really hard. I have to play my pieces well and do sight reading.
