For TOKTWD I went to work with my dad. There I didn’t do much, but I got to do some paperwork and open envelopes. I  learned how to make bank deposits and use Microsoft Excel. I also made some coffee for the other employees. Even though I didn’t do much it was fun helping out and meeting new people. Additionally, I learned a lot of marketing, advertising skills and customer service skills as well.

1. What did you hear, see, smell, and feel in the work environment on Nov. 1st?

I smelt a lot of paper and coffee. I saw people working, computer, meetings, papers, envelopes, and files. I heard people talking, the printer printing, typing, papers flipping and the coffee machine.

2. What about the environment would motivate you to wake up every day to attend work?

I would make money and I would have a lot of friends because the work environment is very welcoming. I should be a part of a company’s growth which motivates me because I would like the company to be successful.

3. What about the work environment would discourage you from waking up every day to attend work?

There’s a lot of paperwork and a lot of calculating, which is very boring to me.

4. What is ONE thing you found interesting about your workplace visit?

I found learning how to use excel interesting and making bank deposits.
