Hey! I’m Aaliya, a grade 9 French immersion student at Charles Best. I enjoy science and woodworking, and outside of school I love playing lacrosse and hangout out with friends. I did the late French program at Moody Middle and am looking forward to the rest of my time here at Charles Best!

My favorite quote is “One thing worth really chasing is a dream” -21 Savage. I chose this quote because I think that people chase a lot of things; money, clothes people, but in reality the thing that truly is worth chasing is your dreams.

My favorite YouTube clip is this clip of . In my free time i really enjoy watching them and their videos always put a smile on my face. I chose this clip because this is a clip where they are all happy and have smiles so it also makes me happy.
A Picture that has Impacted Me:
A picture that has inspired me is Kid Cudi’s “Man On the Moon” album cover because it’s one of my favorite albums and it just became the first 2000’s hip-hop album to earn multiple RIAA diamond singles. This has inspired me to continue believing nothing is impossible and success takes work.
