After attending the lesson on Coast Salish Art, my awareness towards the community has deepened. I know how the drawing of the animals vary by what shapes are used to create them. I also learned the definitions and meanings behind the animals that we see everyday and how it can effect how we think the animal behaves. I did have previous knowledge of the animals and what they represent but attending this session helped me strengthen that understanding while giving me a fun experience to look back at. I am glad I had this opportunity to improve my understanding in the Coast Salish Art and hope to do it in the near future.
