All About Me

My name is Aaliyah and these are some things about me. I have 3 sisters, a cat, and a dog and I’m from Vancouver, BC. Some of my hobbies include baking, shopping, running, and colouring. Something you might not know about me is that I do competitive dance six days a week and I absolutely love it. One of my favourite subject in school would probably have to be foods, because I love to bake and create new things. I am a dedicated, hard worker, and I always try to do my best when it comes to school. My favourite holiday is Christmas because everyone is happy and I love giving back. Also, my dream job would be to become a professional dancer/actress, but i would also like being an interior designer or make up artist. I just think those would incredible jobs to have. These were some things about me I hope you enjoyed reading it.

“Yes, please underestimate me. Doubt, put me down, and discredit my dreams behind my back and to my face. Look down at me while you roll your vacant eyes, it does not bother me, it is my fuel”

-Topher Kearby

I found this quote from someone I look up to and I adore it. I can relate to it as I feel at times that I have to constantly prove my worth at dance. Thinking of this quote makes me want to work harder, and become a better dancer to prove that I am better than they see.

I love this video because it inspires me to do better everyday. I also love to dance, so this makes me happy. It is important to me because it shows me that I could become an amazing dancer just like them.

I like this picture because it was taken in Disneyland and that is my favourite place to be. Everything about that place makes me happy and gives me positive vibes. This picture brings me back to a time of just fun and pure joy.

  1. Great work Aliyah! You have done a very good job putting together your about me page and have integrated your media seamlessly onto your page. Your comments are thorough without being too revealing and indicate a good understanding of digital literacy.
