1. Connecting Core Competencies

For this part of the assignment, I chose Creative Thinking. I think this core competency best represents the assignment because of the things we had to do. First, we asked AI to design a picture for us to put on our footstools, which obviously, we needed to be creative and help guide AI to what we want.

2. Learning From Digital Tools

I think I learned a lot from the digital tools we used during this assignment. My class learned how to effectively interact with AI and make it understand what design we wanted. After we were satisfied with what the AI had designed for us we downloaded the picture and exported it to Canva. While the image was in Canva we learned how to add text to an image and how to export it to our teacher. Now, we just have to export it to the burning machine and put our designs on our wood.

3. Application in other courses

I think the digital application of this assignment would help with other courses if I needed to design a poster or an ad. During this assignment, we learned how to effectively use Canva to our advantage. Specifically how to design anything. Therefore, I think the digital applications of this assignment are really helpful.
