An Assignment I’m Proud Of:

One of my first quarter classes was Foods 9 and an assignment I’m proud of was when we made mac and cheese. It was very tasty and fun to make with my group. It was for a mac and cheese off, competition. We each brought something to add to the dish. I brought parsley. We also added broccoli, bacon, and lots of extra cheese. We didn’t win but the judges said they liked the parsley because it added detail. My whole group worked really well together and followed the recipe perfectly. Everything ran smoothly. It was one of our last foods assignments, before the end of the quarter, so it felt really special.

Guidelines For Commenting On My Blog:

Thank you for visiting my blog! If you wish to comment something on my posts, I recommend you read this, in order to be sure that what you are commenting is appropriate. Here are 4 guidelines you should think about:

  1. Respect: Is what you are saying respectful? Consider the feelings of all people. If it is racist, sexist, homophobic…refrain from posting it.
  2. Appropriate language: Is the language you are using appropriate for our workplace setting? If what you are commenting, you would not be aloud to say at school, do not comment it on this blog.
  3. Relevance: Is what you are saying relevant to the post/blog? If it has absolutely nothing to do with the post/blog, it is irrelevant and therefore, unhelpful.
  4. Criticism: Is what you are saying constructive criticism or destructive criticism? If you would like to critique my work/blog, make sure you are doing it in a way that is helpful and not hurtful.

Here is an example of a comment I would like to see on my blog:

“Hey Sienna, I really like how you (*insert*). This part is really interesting. One thing you could improve on is,  (*insert*). Hope this help.  Otherwise, great job!”
