Week 10 Final Food Blog

Introduction:

As a kid I would always play outside with my siblings and play all day whether if it was playing tag or sports. It was probably the best days of my life just playing daily. Everytime I came back inside for dinner, my mother would always make something really good and something that will make me happy. This made me the happiest child ever just playing every day and eating something delicious everyday. So with this recipe I wanted to bring back the nostalgia and also I had nothing to do with my time so I wanted to take advantage. This pastry I made was very easy yet it was delicious. The first bite I took in the cookie just made me remember all the times I had when I was younger and the fun I had. I never realized how baking can really hold memories and take you back in the past. I’d say this was great to make and was good way to forget about the pandemic.

This was the cookies before going in the oven, I rolled them up with my hands and formed the cookies, they turned out to be bigger than normal but it wasn’t a really big diffence. I topped the cookies off with icing sugar on top it was a little sweet but nothing too sweet.

I don’t know why the photo is upside down, but here are the cookies after putting them in the oven. Because as I said the cookies were a little bigger than normal I had to put them in the oven again to make sure the insides were baked nice and well. The aroma that the cookies gave off was great!
