Micro Bit Progress 2

After experimenting with our code, we found that the main problem is that people do not look at the LED on the micro bit. To improve our project we added a timer on the LED to make it turn off sixty seconds after you clap. To further refine our project we could also add a speaker to remind the user to turn off the lights after thirty seconds. Not only did we strive to finish this project but we also strived to make other people’s lives easier as well.

Micro Bit Progress 1

Nowadays, getting up to turn off/on the lights is too much work. To make it easier for people, my partner Ernie and I came up with the idea of clap on/off lights. The design uses a micro bit, a loudness sensor, and a light(s). In or to turn the lights on, something must make a sound larger than 1000 HZ (the average sound of a human clap). We are also going to get the LED to show ‘Remember to clap to turn off lights’.
