An assignment I am proud of from Quarter 3

Hello!

An assignment I am proud of from Quarter 3 is an activity that I did in Math 9. It was about squares and so each size has their own amount of points. There is a bigger box/square and we need to fit our squares in there. Our goal was to make the highest number of points. The squares can’t overlap, but we can use one square for a maximum of three times. I had to redo it a couple of times because I kept on getting the same amount of points but then eventually I got a higher amount. This activity was quite challenging but that’s what made it fun. There was also a little reflection that I had to do at the end and you can see that on the side of my drawing. I am proud of it because the amount of effort and time that I had put into this, was worth it because I didn’t really expect this mark from what I did. I could’ve answered the last two questions better and there are also other places to improve but I think I did my best and I am proud of that.

Break the fake part ll

Hello!

Today I will fact check a video about Yuna kim. Down below I put some photos of the steps that I took to fact check this video. This is a video was posted by a youtuber named ” Olympics” saying that this was  {Yuna Kim – Free Skate – Ladies’ Figure Skating | Vancouver 2010}. This youtuber had a check mark beside their name but I decided to still research on who they were. When I searched them up on wikipedia, and it said that the owners of this channel was operated by the International Olympic Committee (IOC). Then I searched up {    Yuna Kim – Free Skate – Ladies’ Figure Skating | Vancouver 2010  } with the word fake after that and no news came up saying that it was fake. In conclusion this video is true.

Here are the photos on the steps that I took to fact check the video:

An assignment I am proud of from Quarter 2

Hello!

An assignment that I am proud of from Quarter 2 is a drawing assignment from science 9. For this assignment we had to make a comic strip about asexual reproduction. I am proud of this assignment because of how nice the results turned out especially since I put a good amount of time and effort into this assignment. There was a little part that didn’t go as I wanted but I still tried my best to cover up my mistake. The mark that I got was definitely better than I expected and overall I really like how this assignment turned out.

Yuna Kim the Gold medalist

Hi!

Someone that I am passionate about is Yuna Kim. She is an amazing figure skater and had really great success. It’s nice watching her skate. You can see the extension in her legs with every push she makes and the beautiful landings that she has after each jump or spin. I am passionate about her because you can really see how beautifully and graceful, she skates and how well she has done in skating, really makes me want to watch her skate more and more. You can tell that she has worked really hard training every day to get to what she has become. Yuna Kim was a nine-teen year old South Korean figure skater and has even made it to the Olympics. Ever since 2008, she won nine out of ten of the competitions she went toAt the Olympics, she performed two programs. Two programs, in seven minutes, and twenty elements. She landed six TRIPLE jumps. Not only that but she made no mistakes in her two programs resulting with a total of 228.56 points! (78.50 for the short program and 150.06 for her free program) Four years ago Mao Asada of Japan would’ve gotten gold, but ever since Yuna Kim made it to the Olympics Mao was beaten by 23.06 points placing him in second. She was fast, graceful and athleticIf you have time you could go to YouTube and watch her. An assignment I am proud of from Quarter 1

Hello!

In Visual Arts 9 we did some rendering! In this unit I was a little more confident because I’ve drawn some shapes before. I am proud of this project because honestly, this turned out better than I had expected and I really like the results. There are some places that I could’ve done better but my marks for this project aren’t bad.
