Frequently, many people come into rooms before knocking or waiting, so we have come up with an idea to help keep our privacy and alert us when someone wants to enter the room. This device works when someone passes by the room you have set up the sensor, the sensor will detect someone passing or within a specific range of your room and if the sensor detects the person coming close to your room, it will alert you by sending a notification to your phone.

My partner and I came up with the idea to have a sensor by the door of our bedroom. It would help notify us if someone is coming into our room or passing by. To keep our privacy, we decided to create a sensor that would alert us, or send a notification to your phone that someone is passing or entering the room. We will need a sensor, microbit, and some wires. We will connect the sensor to our phone so it can alert us when a person passes along the room. We can put the sensor in front of the door so it can detect any motion passing across.
