My partner and i josefina decided to make something something that would help with saving energy. I personally am always getting yelled at by my parents for always forgetting to turn off my lights when i leave my room. so i want to make a something that will help me with that issue every time i leave my room. an idea i have is that i could make a light sensor and stick it next to my door so whenever i leave my room the sensor will sense me leave and if i can i will make a stick to hit my light switch to turn it off. now that seems like a bit of a challenge to actually make a moving aspect to my machine so if i couldnt make the arm i can make a alarm go off when i walk past the sensor to remind me to turn off my light.
