I choose to prepare this dish because banana bread is a big hit in my family as well as we had some bananas that were turning bad so it was the perfect time to make it. Also throughout the week I visited my younger cousin and she had just mad some banana bread so I felt inspired to make it. I didn’t have to make any changes to this recipe. This banana bread was amazing. It tasted so great and everyone loved it. It was in the oven for the perfect amount of time and the loaf came out perfectly golden brown. I put a tooth pick in the middle to make sure it was cooked all the way through and it cooked for the exact amount the recipe called for.  There is nothing I would change about this recipe it was excellent. Right before I put it in the oven I added a few more chocolate chips so that it would melt through and I am glad I did this. During this recipe I learnt how to use a stand mixer. My mom got this as a gift for Christmas and it is the first time I decided to use it. It was so great, easy and simple. Using the stand mixer, my mom taught me what all the different settings and what speeds work best for what. She also taught me what all the different attachements do. Overall this dish was a great hit and will definitely be made again.

I chose to prepare this creamy pesto sauce because I saw it in one of your videos and I had never made pesto before so I decided to give it a go. I also had a lot of basil because our plant had fully grown back so it was another thing that convinced me to make this. I did have to make a couple changes to the recipe one of them being that instead of using cashews as a replacement to the original nut, pine nuts, you are supposed to use for pesto, I had to use spicy lime cashews cause we didn’t have plaine. In the end these spicy cashews made the pesto delicious with a little bit of a spice kick to it that I really enjoyed. I think when I make this again I will chose to use these cashews because It was fabulous. Instead of just putting the pesto on some pasta, I decided to add It to a creamy white sauce recipe from my aunt. This was a really good idea and I think it made it really delicious. It was a little bit thick to start off because there was lots of cheese in the white sauce but I added some cream and it thinned out. The cheese in the sauce did not take away from the flavour in fact it made it very good. This is definitely something I will be cooking again in the near futur for me and my family because everyone enjoyed it. It is also a great way to use up our basil.

I chose these items because I had a blend of colours and textures. I also found a few items that had the sam sort of meaning with heart shapes and similar colours. I decided to use the mug for one of my shots because of the beautiful design. When taking the photo I wanted a blurred pop of colour in the distance so I went outside and found some pretty pink flowers. I made sure when making the drink that I had gone the extra mile to make it look delicious so I added whipped cream cinnamon and a cinnamon stick for design. My second Item I wanted it to be simple and I wanted the focus to be on the words of the utensil. I also chose a spice with a lot of colour because I had a simple background. I blurred out the rest of the image so that your focus goes immediately to the words and the colour.
