A Little Introduction

Hello, my name is Lincoln. I’m 14 and I dance and play piano and guitar. In my free time I like to draw or sing. I have two younger siblings. I like to play video games with my younger brother, Ezra. My favourite subject is math. My least favourite subject is socials. I’m enjoying high school so far and I’m looking forward to the rest of the year at Charles Best.

 

1) My Favorite Quote:

” A person’s a person, no matter how small.” is a quote from Dr. Seuss. First of all, I love anything written by Dr.Seuss. I read almost all his books growing up and he’s a big part of my childhood. I personally like this quote because it’s saying no matter your size you, as a person you should still count. Me, being a short and even shy person feels that this quote is important. To me it means even though my voice isn’t as loud and i’m not as tall my opinions and what I say still matters.

 

2) My Favorite YouTube Clip:

My favourite video on youtube is the animated short film – In A Heartbeat. It’s a short film about a closeted boy who runs the risk of being outed by his own heart after it pops out of his chest to chase down the boy of his dreams. I chose this video because when I watched it, it had such a big affect on me. the video is really cute and funny and easy to understand yet with such a deeper subject that follows. I could watch it over and over because it makes me feel so many emotions in just 4 minutes! Sad, happy, frustrated, sad, and then happy in the end. I’d definitely recommend it to others.

 

 

3) A Picture With An Impact on me:

This is a photo from one of my favourite movies, Clueless. I chose this photo because it can tell you a lot about me. I love 90s chick flicks and Clueless is a classic. I can also say I like Clueless because of the fashion and I’m obsessed with clothes. The main character, Cher, is also obsessed with clothes. I also happen to like the style of clothes they wore in the 90s, specifically all of Chers’ outfits. So just by me talking about Clueless, you could tell I enjoy that movie as well as other chick flicks.

 

4) My Favorite Website:

My favourite website is youtube because you can see/watch so many things. I can watch informational videos as well as funny videos. Although I don’t use youtube all that much, I enjoy it a lot. My favourite things to watch are vine compilations, funny edits from regular TV shows I watch, music videos or interviews on actors or famous people.
