my partner and I first had the microbit as a control for the lights in a bedroom. we then said that we could add onto that and have them colour changing as well. some new ideas for the microbit control could be that it is a voice command. Similar to some technology today like google home or Alexa. with a phrase, the lights could on and off, and also we could add certain phrases such as “lights blue” , or any other colour that would trigger. the microbit to change the lights to the colour that you say. one other idea would be to have the lights go on with a timer. almost like an alarm in the morning, but instead it turns your lights on and off when you set it to.
