My name is Felicia, and I am a grade 9 student at Dr. Charles Best Secondary School. I love music, karate, and acting. I have been playing the piano for eleven years, and I am currently working on ARCT music. I also play the French Horn and Alto Saxophone in band. I have been doing karate at the Burnaby Karate Academy for almost 11 years as well. About a year and a half ago, something sparked a strong interest in acting for me. I have made an effort to learn more and develop my skills each week, and I have been slowly starting to put myself out there as an actress and voice actor.

I always find myself coming back to this quote not only because this quote a true statement, but because it’s a reminder that sometimes it’s good to step out of our comfort zone. I really appreciate the quote because it reminds us that we have power over our own lives, and we should use that power to choose paths that will not only make ourselves happy but benefit the others that share this earth with us.

This YouTube video is one of my favourites because it combines two things I love; Good music and Game of Thrones. Part of the reason I enjoy Game of Thrones so much is because of the amazing music composed by Ramin Djawadi. The music captures the atmosphere and emotion of the characters and the show perfectly. I love the enthusiasm and energy that the crowd displays by cheering for their favourite characters and applauding the beautifully written music.

Here are some pictures from the most wonderful trip I have ever been on. New Zealand was a country that I had dreamt of visiting. New Zealand is truly one of the most beautiful places on this earth, and these photos bring back vivid memories of my trip!
This photo is meaningful to me because it is a memory of the really fun two months that I spent playing in Star Band with the wonderful Mr. Reed. This band consisted of students from different schools all across the lower mainland. I improved and learned a lot from my time in Star Band. Everyone who participated in Star Band truly cared about music, and it was great being able to experience what it’s like to play with a full French Horn section.
