There are many different ways that I can use the micro-bit to help reach a solution for my problem. My idea is to have a sensor in front of the door that will detect when someone is there if you are not. There are a few different sensors that would work for this solution. The first sensor that I would be able to use will detect motion. The second sensor that would work will detect weight. And finally the last sensor that I would use will turn on the lights as well as the TV.

I came up with an idea to help protect your house if someone tries to break in. In the event you are not home and someone tries to break in, as soon as they come up to the door there will be a motion sensor. This sensor will detect that someone is there. Once it does the lights as well as the TV will turn on to indicate that someone is inside. Hopefully, this will alert the robber and they will decide to leave your house as it is and all your stuff will be safe.
