foods week 10

i learnt a lot wail making this dish. i have made a lot of banana bread as a kid it was something we and my mom made a lot! and every time i make it i learn something new. This was the first time i made it without any assistance. i did make one substitution i didn’t have enough brown sugar to make the toppings to i ended up using a bit on crumbled nuts and white sugar. my family actually really liked it they ate in in 10 minuets i almost didn’t even get my pictures! i really enjoyed making this dish an i will make it again for sure. i didn’t make any mistakes this time but i remember once when i was cooking with my mom we put baking powder when the recipe that we where using that time called for baking soda, so it didn’t rise as we had hoped. i learnt a huge lesson during the process of making this dish. So after i had cooked the dish my mom walks into the kitchen and got really mad because i left the biggest mess ever. So my mom told me that if i don’t want to deal with one huge mess at once i can handle it in sections and clean as i go. Me and my mom have tried many different banana breads but the one i made was the one me and my mom thought  was the best.
