JUDGE ME BY MY SIZE, DO YOU? -Yoda
In a world of people who are always talking, it was hard to pick which one of their words was my favourite. I have many different quotes that I find to be favourites of mine, but I decided to go with this one. It’s from the movie “The Empire Strikes Back”, which was a part of the original “Star Wars” trilogy. I chose this quote because I am a little short myself. People might judge me when they first see my appearance because I don’t seem like much; however, just like Yoda, you just need to get to know me a bit to get past my initial appearance. I also chose this quote because Yoda said it and he’s awesome.
Ed Sheeran’s Ad
As a video, I decided to choose Ed Sheeran’s Heinz ketchup commercial. I don’t really have an important reason as to why I chose this video. I really like it because I think that it’s nice to see an artist with fame do a commercial for something that doesn’t cost hundreds of dollars. I also really like Ed Sheeran because his music is amazing.
Wall of No
I decided on this picture because it is a representation of a creative piece I did on a project a year or two ago. It was for an inquiry the evolution on feminism. I had decided to represent the oppression that women in the past had overcome by painting a wall made out of speech bubbles that read “no”. I tried to paint a hammer that said “yes” on it to show what perseverance did to negative opinion, but it really just ended up looking like sign. The inquiry was a very impactful project I did and I think that this picture is a great representation and reminder of it.
Guitar Life Saver
One of my favourite websites is called “Ultimate Guitar”. I provides different tablatures for a wide variety of songs, as well as the basic chords. If you want to learn how to play solos or even just strum along to the song, Ultimate Guitar is definitely one of my favourites because it’s free and requires no subscriptions.
Interesting facts about my birthday
These things didn’t happen exactly on my birthday, considering these events happened years and years ago in the past, and history isn’t always accurate. One of the things that I found that might have happened around my birthday is the signing of the Warrant of Execution for Mary Queen of Scots by Queen Elizabeth I. In case you didn’t know, Mary Queen of Scots was the sister of Queen Elizabeth I. Mary Queen of Scots had also thrown Queen Elizabeth I into prison for many years in the past. I found this fact to be the most interesting.
