An assignment I am most proud of this year was my Science Electricity Unit project. I worked very hard to achieve a good mark on it and was satisfied with what I got. In this project, we walked along Mundy Park and took pictures of distribution lines, and anything to do with electricity. We had to explain the steps and show the pictures for the project. It might sound pretty easy, but you must put in a lot of effort and make sure your information is based on what you learned and not just copy and pasted. I am proud of this assignment because I took a lot of time and effort and learned something that I will need to know in the future. It is a very important subject and I am glad I learned it so I can be more careful around my surroundings.
3. I did a search on Wikipedia and ended up finding the group and there is positive feedback on it and the page is what it talks about. It is about a Philippine sports program which is what my video is about. So I do know that I can trust the page but not fully.
5. Just to be sure I went to SNOPES.COM and did not find anything about the page nor the subject Tae Kwon do.
6. To finish off to see if my information is real I did a google search with the name and looked up HOAX or FAKE and found out it is a real thing and the page is based off of truth.
An assignment I am most proud on in second quarter is my English assignment. Our teacher gave us a subject which writing about a “Dandelion” and we had to write about it and create a story. I’m very proud of what I wrote and am happy with my mark because I worked very hard on it in the 2 hours we had in class.
Im very proud of it because I love creating stories and using a topic and creating something create-full with it that has meaning. What you had to do was use the topic Dandelion and free write about it. You made up your own story and must’ve included “there was a shadow”.
In this assignment I demonstrated that I followed the criteria, and I wrote it about a boy named Colby who lives in a imaginary world where his imaginations do come true but with that ability he has rules and dandelions as guardian parents. He learns as he grows, and has limit to his ability but at a young age can’t control it very well. That’s when the dandelion parents come in, to help him proceed and succeed. Colby thought he lived on his own but apparently not. In the end once he has learned and the guardians have done the job, he may proceed to the real world and learn many more.
Taekwondo is a sport i’ve been doing for about a while now. It’s a type of martial arts that has been created 2000 years ago and is used for safety. In Taekwondo we have rules and regulations where you’d have to stick to your word or else a lot can happen. If you do not follow those rules and regulations you will be kicked out permanently, could be reported to the police for usage of weapons and you could be put at charge or even could go to jail. You should not be using any sort of those techniques outside of the Taekwondo gym unless you are in a dangerous situation and in need of, otherwise it should not be used anywhere. In Taekwondo a starting belt is white and a very advanced one is black. Black belts take years to achieve. It takes more than 6 years to achieve a black belt and once you are a black belt, then comes in the “Degrees”. If you are doing bad in school, it will affect your Taekwondo class, because it is apart of the rules, to get good grades. Some other rules are to respect your parents, teachers, and family. A representative to me who impacted me is Elizabeth Evans. I recently learned about her and she is one of the toughest competitors in Taekwondo. How is she a representitor? She represents us woman. How? She stands for woman and goes on about how woman are strong and how she advises that Taekwondo can change a womans life and how us woman need to know how to protect ourselves. I do agree with her because in society us woman are very judged and we are a target and it is very sad but Taekwondo gives you that confidence and you feel safe once you know how to protect yourself. In Taekwondo, demonstrations are done, many attacks are shown and you learn how to react to them and what to do. I advise you to join Taekwondo as it can change your life!
In my opinion, something I wouldn’t like under my blog would be people judging me and telling me what to do
4 things I will not appreciate on my blog is, disrespecting me, judging me, stealing information from me and commenting rude stuff about me and trying to change me for who I am.
Disrespecting me is something I will not tolerate at all and I will immediately report it.
Judging me is not acceptable at all because I am who I am.
Stealing information will be reported as soon as I find out or a teacher does.
Commenting rude or inappropriate things will also be reported but also deleted.
What to do on my blog! (Be productive!)
On my blog I would love to see support, kindness, respect, and feedback.
Supporting someone means a lot because you will know they’re there for you and you can spread it around like going to their blog or supporting them in general! EXAMPLE: Keep up the good work I support you and your decisions!
Kindness can be spread easily it’s very affective and I would like to see it on my blog. EXAMPLE: Hey love your blog! Keep up the good work!
Respect is something I look for. Respecting me as a person, my blog, and my work. EXAMPLE: Wow I have the same assignment right now I love what you did you’re so talented!
Feedback is something I want to look for. Being rude and giving feedback are 2 different things. EXAMPLE: Hey I would recommend you do this ____.
An example of a good comment would be: Hey Ariana! Nice work I love your blog!
Nobody likes to have negativity under their post, think of my post as yours! If you’re commenting something hateful, think of how you would feel if it was your post.
An assignment I am proud of this year would be an assignment I did in my socials class. In socials we are learning about the Khaled Saeed facebook page and how it basically impacts other people’s lives. I did very well on it and learned a lot and personally it was my favorite assignment. I worked very hard on it and did hours of research and ended up with a mark i preferred to have and was very happy about it. Another reason why is because socials is my favorite class and I end up doing well in it. Hopefully I get an A in it this year. It’s been a pretty challenging year because of how short classes are but I always do my best!
