The day before school started i went to a reffing clinic to start my carer as a referee for my association. It may not sound like a lot but I have wanted to become a ref ever since I started playing hockey. Throughout the season I reffed many games and ended my first ever reffing season by refereeing in the Tri-city ice classic, the tournament that my association puts on every year. Even tough it seems small it is still a big accomplishment for me. I am very proud of myself for doing it because at the start i was very scared to ref, I didn’t want to mess up but I stuck to it and I got through the season.
