My partner and I came up with the idea to cease “energy vampires”, our problem is in the “wasting energy” section. Energy vampires are un-used electrical appliances that draw continues energy out from your outlets. Our device is used when energy vampires are present in your house, our device will tell you when your outlets are being from their energy. A button will be installed on top of the outlet that lets you know the various states of wasting energy when present. There are three states, low energy wasting, medium energy wasting and high energy wasting. The button shows the three colors green, yellow and red for each of the states.

My partner and I are going to be making a device that notifies you when the devices in your household are draining your energy from your outlets. We are planning to use an LED light, a rotary angle sensor and a battery pack.
