Commenting Guidelines

Thanks for checking out Abby’s official Blog! When commenting on my posts, be attentive of what you say. Here are some helpful guidelines to show what would be appropriate to comment:

1. Be respectful! ~ Please do not comment anything that could be disrespectful to your peers and teachers. Be mindful of who is going to read your comment, and make sure your comments are positive and uplifting to everyone.

2. Give positive feedback! ~ Instead of judging, if you see something that should be different or corrected, give positive and constructive criticism so you constantly keep the positive energy going! Judgmental comments are just going to bring someone down so be careful with how you give your assistance. I welcome feedback and suggestions as long as they are positive.

3. No derogatory language! ~ Anyone and everyone can see what you comment so be sure to use appropriate language and avoid using profanity.

4. Keep the comments related to the topic of the post! ~ Comments on my posts should be relevant to the topic of the post to create an open discussion between me and those reading. Comments unrelated are unnecessary and unhelpful.

5. What gets put on the internet, stays on the internet! ~ Every comment will stay online for everyone to see, so make sure to only put stuff you know is appropriate for everyone. If you decide to comment something offensive or inappropriate, it will stay there. Be cautious with what you comment overall!

Example of an encouraging comment:

“Thank you Abigail for writing this post! I found it super helpful and informative.”
