During this year of digital learning, I learned and developed many research and fact-checking skills. Through my newly acquired skills, I am able to double-check my sources in my essays and find articles and essays to reference on multiple websites. In my “Take Your Kids to Work Day” experience, I learned how a dietitian operates and the responsibilities of having a job. I understood how to send a proper formal email to a teacher and how to write posts on Edublog. I found out about Coast Salish art, including how the shapes form the details of an animal and the methods of using Inkscape. With all of the skills I have developed, I will certainly apply them to my future assignments and tasks.
