  • What is the overall topic and the goal of your project?

I talked about the percentages of black and indigenous peoples in prisons vs their white counterparts as well as why the black and indigenous population in “Canada” are being incarcerated at such a high rate. The last thing I talked about things you could do/think about to support the black and indigenous population here in so called “Canada”.

I learned how to format an infographic and how to make it visually pleasing as well as different ways to show data that would be easy to understand. I will definitely be using this tool again as now I know how easy and simple it is to display data and information effectively in an infographic using Canva.

  • How has the process of utilizing this tool impacted your understanding of how technology can change (or help) the world?
